Our district meetings for 2008 will be at a new location, the Team Room at Native New Yorker in Ahwatukee, 5030 E Ray Rd #5. The meeting still starts at 7 p.m., but come at 6:30 to socialize and eat.
The guest speaker for the February 11 meeting is Janice Brunson, Democratic National Committeewoman, presenting "Behind the scenes at the DNC." Come hear an unorthodox, nosy view of the Democratic National Committee based on her years of experience.
In case you missed the last meeting, we will also be passing out PC petitions and walk lists so everyone can get an early start at collecting signatures to become elected precinct committee people. |

This is directed to all you precinct committeepeople who are helping to re-register independents for the presidential preference primary. We have a script that you can download to support your phone banking. You'll find the script here. The deadline to register for the primary is January 7, 2008 at midnight. Let's make sure everyone knows that they have to state a party preference to take part in the primaries! |
